Yeah Yeah

Sorry, I just don't have much to say right now and I haven't been on the computer long enough to say what I want. Knitting is a little frustrating right now. I'm currently knitting a pumpkin for my husband after I completely frogged my stepsister's Jaywalkers. I was past the heel and I think I had even finished the gusset when I decided to try it on. I promise I checked my gauge before I got very far and it was right on, but apparently my measuring tape is from Mars, because I could hardly get the socks past my toes. Now, her foot has a circumference that's 1/2 an inch smaller than mine, but there's no way it should make THAT much of a difference. I re-checked my gauge: totally off. So now it's all back in a ball. After I did the math with the correct gauge, I determined that just using the larger size in the pattern should work. It had better, or Nicole's not getting Christmas socks.

That's it. As soon as the blasted pumpkin's finished, I might get the guts to re-start the socks. Otherwise, not much knitting's going on here. Maybe I just needed a kind-of break.

I'll post again when there's something to post. And maybe I'll finally post pictures that have been on my camera for weeks. Keep checking back, but don't hold your breath with it being too soon. I'll just go ahead and apologize in advance: Sorry. There, I said it.
